Tauranga Opera Forum was established in 2013 to give a satisfying opera experience at an affordable price to lovers of opera in a comfortable environment where members can socialise, talk opera and enjoy each other’s company.

The Forum also provides financial support for  scholarships for Tauranga based secondary singing students who have a bent towards opera.

Through the year, complementary to our DVD screenings, we have live performances from our scholarship students plus guest performances from The Consortium of Music at Waikato University in Hamilton. Through the regular DVD screenings, regular newsletters and these live singing events we promote and support opera in Tauranga.

Join us on the second Thursday of each month between February and November and enjoy our forum with a glass of wine and tasty canapés before the opera.
